Verfasst von Rolf Lackner, Ungarn

Am Schokoladenmuseum 1A, 50678 Köln, Köln, Deutschland

The Imhoff-Schokoladenmuseum was opened by Hans Imhoff in 1993. The museum is located in Cologne in the Altstadt-Süd on the riverside of Rheinau. The exibition is about the entire history of chocolate from the beginning to even nowadays. Furthermore they show us all the production methods.

With 675 000 visitors a year, this museum is one of the most well-known museums in Germany. So that is not a big suprise that it is in the Top Ten of German museums.

Yesterday me and friends were there because we had a task to find famous sights in Cologne and mine was that to find the Imhoff Schokolademuseum. The museum located on an island and the only way you can go there is that you go by walk and cross a bridge what looks like the Hohenzollern Brigde. Unfortunately we were not able to see the exhibition because we did not have enough time for that. However we could see the inner hall of it and we had a little time for buy something suvenier in the shop.
