The „Eiserne Steg“ is a footbridge in Frankfurt/Main. It was buildet in 1862.

The Bridge conectes the „Römerberg“ and the citypart „Sachsenhauen“ and goes over thr Main.The Bridge is 170 m long and contains Steel and concred.

Since some time you can find thair Lover Looks (Liebesschlösser), after it was not allowed many years. The Looks often contains engraving with name and date of the lovers.

It isen´t konwen who had startet with this, but they think that it came from italy.
